DAY 1/2: ICELAND – LAND OF THE MIDNIGHT SUN
Welcome to beautiful Iceland… Nowhere else can you find a more diversified, contrast of of Nature. . . The romantic landscape is smooth and rough all the time… Steep cliffs plungin precipitously into narrow fjords, deep canyons, geyser and black sandy beaches.! We meet our guide and enjoy the beauty and traditions of this unique place. Starting with a pleasant drive through the Old Town Center, to the Alpingi Parliament, the Domkirkjan Cathedral, City Hall and the Summit. This is where President Reagan and Russia’s Gorbachev met! A stop at Perland for a s pectacular view overlooking the city. Before arriving at our hotel, we make a stop at the famous Hallgrimskirkja Church and the Sun voyager Sculpture – two of Reykjavik’s well-known lanmarks.
DAY 4: REYKJAVIK
A leisurely day to enjoy this town to see and do things at your own pace . . . Perhaps you might like to join us on an optional excursion to the famous Blue Lagoon. We visit the Reukjanes Peninsula, one of the most active volcanic areas in Iceland to arrive at the Blue Lagoon a natural pool of mineral rich geothermal water located in the middle of flat black lava. This huge, outdoor lagoon is filled by its naturally heated geothermal water which comes from 6,500 feet below the Earth’s surface. Leisurely time at the lagoon to enjoy bathing in the natural mineral rich, geothermal waters. Truly a unique experience! Then visit the Lagoon Store, where you can purchase gifts of seaweed and mineral rich skin care products before return to Reykjavik.
DAY 5: LONDON - ENGLAND
A short flight brings us to the exciting London, the capital of the former Great English Empire – beautifully situated on the Banks of the River Thames. Your London City tour includes the iconic London Bridge, Big Ben clock tower, Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married, the Prime Minister’s house on Downing Street, and St Paul Cathedral. Later we stop for Photos at Buckingham Palace before continuing to Southampton.
DAY 8: AT SEA - CRUSING THE NORTH SEA
Some of the most memorable moments of your cruise are the ones you spend on board ship Day after day, wherever you go and whatever you do, the gracious service staff will pamper you. Relax and enjoy your luxurious floating hotel while dining on extensive menus from their signature kitchen...The perfect combination of Old-World and New-World recipes followed by delicious desserts - Tiramisu, Tartufo, and chocolate soufflés.! Every evening the curtain goes up in the lounge and your friendly cruise director introduces you to the nights fare . . . a musical revue - an extravagant Las Vegas style show - a rib-tickling comedian or a skillful magician. Enjoy live music in the lounges, dance the night away at the disco, relax and enjoy a glass of wine at the Piano Bar or tempt Lady Luck in the Glittering Casino.
